I was sorely disappointed when he could not think outside the box and allowed his religious convictions interfere with medical practices. Perhaps his memory is slipping when he couldn't remember that a 2nd trimester pregnancy bears resemblance to a full term belly because the patient has over 15 fibroid tumors in her uterus. As a result, when listening for the fetus's heart beat, you may not find the fetus in the "normal" location of the uterus. Could it be (thinking outside the box) that the fetus is elsewhere due to the amount of fibroids taking up space in one's uterus. Needless to say, the MISCARRIAGE and the pregnancy was all a very horrible experience and interacting with someone like this doctor made things 100 times worse. And being of certain faith, it's nice to know that a simple procedure as getting the placentia out of the uterus (right after a miscarriage) interferes with religious beliefs because apparently it mimics a dilation & curettage (D&C) process which is used in fetus removal. Don't waste your time with this "physician".
