He is friendly and does things quickly, such as ultrasound, measurements, etc. which means he doesn't really spend too much time with the patient. One concern is that he doesn't really remember my pregnancy, I've had to remind him how far along I was during my some of my appointments. Some appointments the nursing staff would forget to do basic stuff like weigh me. I'm still with the doctor because he seems competent and is your average friendly doctor, but the key word is AVERAGE - average staff, average doctor, average attention. This is my first pregnancy but for my next pregnancy I'll most likely go to a different doctor.

THERE IS CURRENTLY, A LAW SUIT OPEN AGAINST THIS DR.
This dr. not only did not care for the baby, but did not even take a quick look at the baby he had delivered. He ran away from the room like he has another appointment and did not give me ANY care. That's the last time I have seen this dr. He did not even come back to the hospital to see how his patient is doing, let alone the baby. He sent another dr. from his office to check on me. Here is my first review which is fully the truth.
"If you are planning on losing your full term baby go here, because this happened to me.
My baby passed away due to a hemmorage in his brain and here is the story:
My doctor (Dr. Hartford who practices in the building next to the hospital and is on the board of directors at VHH) came in once (only 1 time throughout the entire labor). When he came the second time, he walked in after 4 hours of me pushing to get the baby out and told me there is not enough time for him to take me to C-Section. So, he has to use the vaccum to get the baby out. He used the vaccum TWICE to get my baby out. It is believed by other doctors who examined him afterwards, who have revirewed his medical records, that the baby went into distress when the vaccum came into play and there is a very high chance that he bled at that time. Bottom line is, him and nursing staff did not identify that the baby is in distress and that the baby is having a hard time getting out... she just kept telling me i should push harder, where as my baby's hand was on his chin making it hard for him to pass the passage. So, the nurse didn't even identify that my baby's position is in a way that he will never get out if we continue pushing.
I am still to figure out what kind of a hospital nurse tells the mom "you are fissing him too much. you should just go home and sleep" when my baby is on a billi bed for 5 nights and his billi rubin level is not going down.
I am still to figure out since when is it ok if the delivery doctor gives a baby brachial plaxus because he comes in so late that he doesn't have time to take him out via c-section and has to vaccum the baby and pull his arm...and worst of all, he just doesn't do anything about it.
I am still to figure out why a nurse would leave me for 10 minutes during labor (occasionally) to go outside the room and tell me to push if a contraction comes around....
I LOST MY BABY DUE TO NEGLIGANCE FROM DELIVERY DOCTOR (S. HARTFORD) AND VH HOSPITAL STAFF, AND OF COURSE THE PEDIATRICIAN WHO VISITED HIM FOR 8 DAYS AND TOLD US HE IS FINE (GLENDALE PEDIATRICS).
