In 1978, when I was 27, Dr. Myles Saunders gave me a clinical diagnosis that GAVE me the next 40 years of Life. Beginning with 'conservative' non-invasive techniques, for 1 year, he then searched for and found the reason why I awakened, screaming and frozen in the middle of the night, awakening every resident of my apartment building at that time. He quite literally 'heard' my complaints and acted prophylactically initially, and as he promised, 1 year later performing surgery to fuse my neck's C-4/5 spinal column and followed me post-operatively, for 6 months, as my spinal cord recovered from having a sharp point of bone removed that could have kept me in a wheelchair for Life. Instead? I am now a 13-year-Retired Educator after a 31-year career. I wish that Dr. Myles Saunders could know all of this, and my current need for a Surgeon of HIS quality and dedication, because his actual surgical work may be needed again. Dr. Keith Liberman was his partner in the surgical 'bay' then who removed a bone-plug from my right hip...I THANK YOU BOTH, Doctors, for the Life your work gave me back !! My search begins anew after September 3rd.

Dr. Saunders came to my aid after my wife Anne suffered a burst aneurysm. Although he was not the attending physician, he gave unstintingly of his time and expertise, answering my questions with care and compassion. I will always be grateful to Myles Saunders for what he did for me and Anne. He is a marvelous human being and a wonderful doctor.
