Pompous arrogant told me my daughters v.p. shunt was fine. Would not even check it with the magnet to make sure it was working (would take a few minutes). Had to take my daughter to the E.R. two weeks later. Her shunt had been coiled up in her neck and the valve was not working at all. He still was rude and arrogant saying he didn't think that would solve her problems. She had a revision and he sent her home while she was having post surgical complications and refused to see her back until the recommended two week follow up. There is a reason the pediatric neurosurgery dept is ranked so far below the adult. I think it's Dr. Mathern.

I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated.
