Great doctor 10 years ago. I do not like him or trust his judgment now.

Cognitive problems: Reading labwork from an unfamiliar lab caused him to exhibit impatience, frustration and mutter "idiots." Reordered this recent labwork AGAIN.

Insulting and condescending, saying my weight was double what it should be when that was mathematically incorrect based on target and current weight.

His nutritional knowledge was seriously out of date and I'm concerned that his medical knowledge is as well. So I didn't schedule a follow-up with this mean, nasty old man.

The staff was friendly, but on more than 2 occasions, I overheard the staff complaining about the doctor. This was very awkward for me & unprofessional to say the least. Also on separate visits, I overheard them gossiping about a patient, this made me wonder if when I would leave, would they gossip about me? They weren't overly rude but they could have been a lot nicer. I am not going to refer my family and friends here. I just wasn't that impressed. The doctor didn't seem like he wanted to listen to almost everything I had to say. He interrupted me often & showed little interest in what I had to say & also gave me looks of disgust when mentioning my obesity, this hurt my feelings. Even though I was a regular for 2 years (on a monthly basis), the doctor always forgot who I was & what my situation was. We normally spent the doctors visit reviewing why I was there in the first place. Nothing has been resolved. Every appointment I'm just sent to do more labs & never given an explanation as to what's going to happen. I'm usually rushed off. I'm no longer a patient of Charnock by choice. I have moved on to someone who will at least help me fix my medical problem & not prolong it.
