Welcome to Allergy and Asthma Medical Group of the Bay Area, with offices throughout the San Francisco East Bay - Berkeley, Brentwood, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Walnut Creek. . Were ready to help from the mildest to the most complex allergy and asthma symptoms, including pollen allergy, food allergies, venom allergies, asthma, eczema, hives and sinusitis. We treat all ages - infants, children and adults, with compassion, courtesy, and a wealth of experience. Every patient receives personal attention, a detailed evaluation, and customized treatment plan which may include allergen immuotherapy (allergy shots), asthma action plans, ongoing support, and access to critical information.

Education Dr. Jacobs completed his Internal Medicine residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center, then his fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He completed nine years of service in the USAF and was the former Chief of Internal Medicine for the 28th Medical Group at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. Dr. Jacobs joined Allergy and Asthma Medical Group in 1999. He is the Medical Director of Allergy and Asthma Clinical Research, Inc. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American Thoracic Society; European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology; and President of the Western Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Jacobs areas of interest are the treatment of chronic sinusitis, atopic dermatitis/food allergy, asthma and primary immunodeficiency.

I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. I was very happy upon seeing their state-of-the-art office equipment. I knew I would be getting top of the line treatment and the most advanced care available.
