My son has been a patient of Dr. Wells for about 2 years. After every visit, we are more disappointed than the last with the quality of care that is being provided for our child. I do not find him the least bit knowledgeable about medicine. When I informed him that I was treating my son's allergies with over-the-counter Children's Alegra (for ages 2 and older), he had no idea that it existed! Furthermore, the wait time to be seen is atrocious! My son had an appointment at 9:20 am for a follow-up after being released from the hospital. We arrived punctually at 9:15am and waited for 50 minutes before leaving the office after finding out that Dr. Wells hadn't even come in yet! As far as I know, my son was his first appointment of the day. We were not informed of this earlier by his staff. Moreover, this isn't the first time that we have been made to wait an hour to be seen. I find Dr. Wells business practices to be completely inconsiderate of his patient's time. Furthermore, I do not trust him my son's health and wealth being. The one star is for his nurse, Judy. It appears that she does all the work for him while he seems to wander into the office at his leisure. How he has a five star rating is beyond me. We will be searching for another pediatrician.
