Dr Vincent Russo graduated from Albany Medical College in 1976 and completed his Orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. He specializes in adult reconstructive surgery, total joint replacements, and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Russo is affiliated with HonorHealth Shea Medical Center. Orthopedic surgery runs in his family. His father was an orthopedic surgeon and his son, Dr. Matthew Russo, is currently completing an orthopedic fellowship in total joint surgery and will be joining the practice in September 2017. Dr Vincent Russo has been practicing in Scottsdale for 35 years and feels privileged to have treated as many as 3 generations of patients from the same family. As an orthopedist, he is able to improve the function and therefore the quality of his patients' lives. He especially enjoys the challenge of treating a variety of orthopedic problems- from sports-related injuries to total joint replacements. Dr Russo was referred to me many years ago. He first repaired a knee that another Ortho Surgeon was unable to do correctly. 15 years later that knee replacement is still functioning perfectly. He has since repaired both shoulders. One has retorn from my own mis-use & will eventually require replacement. In my opinion Vincent Russo is not only a first rate ortho surgeon but, more importantly, a first rate human being! OrthoAZ also has an excellent staff, their x-ray Tech has been there many years & very professional & Rosalie in the front office is extremly efficient/professional.
