Howard was my Dr. for the majority of my pregnancy. He was nice in the beginning, listened to my concerns and I felt like I had found a pre natal professional that I could stick with. Over time, I felt the quality of my appointments were going downhill and being rushed. I attributed this to the Dr. being busy even though he was always late for my appointments. It seemed my time was cut short to make up for others he wanted to take his time with. No problem, I never really had major concerns anyway. On 6/29 I raised concerns about possible preeclampsia. I was first troubled when I could hear this man openly discussing my concerns with someone in the hall outside of my room before he even came in to see me! When he did come in, I told him how I wasn't feeling great (low energy levels, concern over high bp reading and increasing nausea and heartburn). I was met with a condescending attitude to the point where I asked why he was speaking to me in such an unprofessional manner. Instead of apologizing, he told me it was because I was set on having an illness that I didnt have! Honestly, I didnt think raising concerns about MY PREGNANCY would be an issue. All in all he basically told me if I didn't like the treatment I got there, I could seek another doctor which is exactly what I plan to do. But not before letting others know about how unprofessional Miles Howard is. I urge anyone looking into him for care to read further google reviews. My experience is not an isolated incidence!

I hope another female doesn't have to experience what I just went through. I would love to talk with doctor Howard personally and let him know how he made me feel. It takes a lot for me to make appointments for myself. I have been suffering with debilitating menstrual cramps for years now. I first made an appointment with Dr. Howard a year and a half ago about this problem. He scheduled me for an ultra sound. I then returned and he told me that I had cysts in my ovaries, endometriosis, and fibroids that were causing the painful periods. At that time we tried birth control pills and Motrin. Flash forward a year and a half, having heavier bleeding, more clots, and severe pain. I told this to his intern and that I was looking into a hysterectomy. When I saw Dr. Howard he acted as if the fibroids weren't causing my pain got upset that I was questioning why I would be having so much pain. I asked about alternatives to a hysterectomy. He told me to take the pill (I've tried that it didn't work), ablation would only relieve the bleeding (but what about the pain), he then acts as if I'm only in there to get a hysterectomy????? I'm not sure what I missed in this conversation. He was rude and abrupt with me. He didn't appreciate that I was questioning prior things that he told me in my last appointment. Asked if I wanted an ultra sound or not? I said "I guess not, since my fibroids aren't causing the pain" he then tells me I would only be concerned if they have grown rapidly and tells me that would mean I have cancer (not sure how that even came into play) He walks out of the room, doesn't say anything. I'm left wondering what to do. I walk out to check myself out. I find the Dr. yelling at his intern accusing him of making him look like a "jack ass" his words. I don't use those type of words. All I was doing was looking for reasons why my period is getting so heavy I can't leave during the month. The pain was so severe last month I was throwing up. These are the questions I was asking. I'm so sad that this is the response I got. Basically, left feeling as if the doctor thinks I'm making up stories in order to get a hysterectomy??? Why in the world would I do something like that. I'm not looking for any type of pills. Just answers and a doctor with some sort of bed side manner. I've never witnessed this type of behavior from a doctor and hope and pray it doesn't happen to other person.
