As a psychologist, it is truly a privilege to be invited into the lives of others during a therapy session. My philosophy of psychological treatment is based upon an empathic and compassionate therapeutic rapport which I consider the primary vehicle to interpersonal understanding, change and healing. Dr. Daniel Leichter is a quaksalver. As a licensed psychological professional he is less than subpar. My experience with him seeking his counsel and advice as a mental health professional has been poor to say the least. Dr. Leichter has shown that he is not a willing, and committed professional at providing care that will benefit a situation in which one is seeking help. It does not take much more than the "eye test" to figure out what the difference is between right and wrong, using common sense, reasonable judgment, and professional insight in order to solve a problem to matters that are pertinent to a situation. Dr. Leichter has denied any ability to feel safe and comforted with protection for concerns that are relevant to the onslaught of problems created by the other party from whom I wished to seek asylum. Instead of appropriately handling matters in a forthcoming light, it seemed that he was more plausibly concerned with getting paid to take care of his next lap dance by one of many fine ladies at an entertainment establishment for gentleman. If this is the course of action Dr. Leichter is intending to be committed to then you will not succeed in his care, and will be wasting a considerable hourly fee for lack of services rendered. It is strongly suggested that before you commit to seeing him for your care that you consider another therapist immediately instead. Do not waste your time, money, efforts, or life to receive nothing of considerate care by him in return.
