My elderly parents have been going to Dr. Ham for many many years. I was sorry I had to move them from California to NY but this did not present the problem I thought it would in terms of the equipment Dr. Ham provided both my parents. My mom is 101, my dad 99. She stepped on her hearing aid and broke it, my father lost his. Hers wasn't strong enough, my dad refused to wear his. All of these issues were attended to long distance and without cost by an ever gracious, every caring Dr. Young Ham. So even from NY, when he cannot see my parents, he takes care of their hearing needs.

Everyone in Downey knows that Dr. Ham is the absolute best in his field. He makes an extra effort to get to know all his patients and find out what they need. He always remembers me and makes me feel very important even though I am not the patient! He makes my parents feel extra special. Their condition was fully explained to them in a very clear and concise manner and they are able to hear and enjoy life. Dr. Ham always goes above and beyond to help me and my parents with anything we need. He never complains about anything, and I know I can always count on him. I highly recommend him.

I can't recommend Dr. Ham highly enough. Both my elderly parents are treated like his own mother and father. He spends extra time with them and is unbelievably patient and compassionate. Even when I had to relocate them to New York, he still handles their hearing aid issues and orders for them without a fee. In Downey, I feel like he and Esther, his assistant, went out of their way to accommodate my parents' schedule and slowness. They always got the appointment time they needed and didn't wait long at all. Appointments started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. I love that Dr. Ham is always more than happy to answer questions, and actually welcomes questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. He also always makes sure to return my phone call as soon as possible.
