After diagnosing an arterial blood clot in my leg, Dr. Bade fully explained my surgical options and risks. After I confirmed my surgery during my Friday appointment, I remarked to Dr. Bade that I was previously scheduled to be off from work the following week. He, in turn, told me that he was on call that weekend, and said he could perform the surgery the following day if I wanted, which I accepted. While still in his office with him, Dr. Bade personally called the hospital to schedule my surgery, along with the pre-op blood work and EKG and echo-cardiogram that I underwent that afternoon. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Bade was very personable and attentive to my pre-op and post-operative questions and concerns. I am very grateful that the emergency room physician on call who initially saw me, referred me to Dr. Bade.
