Went to my appointment only to tell me I had wrong paperwork since I had been in an accident. Had to wait 3 weeks and when I called to see what was going on was told they couldn’t reach anyone for insurance confirmation. I got the info and called myself and has everything taken care of in less than an hour. Went to my appointment, explained what was going on. He looked at my MRI for less than a minute and told me I didn’t need surgery. Referred me for another MRI and to see a urologist and pain management doctor for spinal facet injections.

When I went for second visit following MRI, thought it would be with doc but it was with a PA instead who was not much help other than ordering another MRI and X-rays and to see pain management doc and told her already had that appointment scheduled.

Went for MRI, never was called back for follow up and never got a call for X-rays to be done. In the meantime went for facet injections which was a wast of time and money because they did not help. Was already in pain again by 6 that evening with a massive migraine that lasted almost 2 days. Doc who did that wanted to repeat it but my pcp said no.

Went and got a second opinion. On that first visit was prescribed muscle relaxer and referred to physical therapy. Despite all that nothing was helping. Surgery was scheduled and my back was worse than expected and ended up with a multi level spinal fusion. Very sad that I had to go somewhere else where a doc listened to me and helped.

What a difference between offices and so thankful I went for a second opinion. Especially after being told that they were surprised I was even still able to walk. Didn’t need a urologist after all since problems were all because of my back issues.
