My father was treated by Dr. Jenny and performed his back surgery. He is very difficult to communicate with or to have any of your questions answered. He seemed knowledgeable and experienced so we overlooked his bed side manner going into the surgery. After surgery there were no post op care instructions given or instructions for taking care of his dressing.
In our follow up appointment we mentioned this and he was rude and said he told us in the office and he don't provide anything in writing. At least six weeks had passed from our visit in his office about surgery and the actual surgery due to my dads heart condition that caused a delay, but even so there were not instructions or retstrictions given verbally at that time that we recall. My dad has not improved since surgery and in fact the pain is greater and recently worsen to the point that he is hunched over, standing up straight is too painful. We contaced Dr. Jenny about this and he prescribed over the counter ibuprofin. Also the medical leave papers he completed for my dad say he can go back to work light duty with a long list of restrictions. All the restrictions are what my dad does at work and at this point he cannot even drive so how is he going to get there. So much has gone on it is hard to incorporate the details but this doctor is horrible and we will be seeking a second opinion and hopefully getting proper treatment.
