A superb and caring physician!

While overall I was pleased with Dr. Moeller's care it was my last contact with him that pretty much summed up my trust for this physician. I cannot take Tylenol (acetaminophen) in any amount other than a tab or two periodically without it damaging my liver, it elevates my liver function tests considerably and has been documented doing so. I told Dr. Moeller this on several occasions and more importantly in my pre-op appointment. My family doctor was well aware of this situation. I was unaware that "drug seeking" patients had said as much before in their quest to get strong narcotics. No matter, in my case it was documented and all this doctor had to do was pick up the phone fore 1-2 minutes and it would have been clear. I had surgery on a Friday afternoon and after coming out of anesthesia it was "after hours" on a Friday night and guess what was I prescribed? Tylenol and oxycodone (Percocet) and the doctor had left for the weekend. Now I could have cared less what he prescribed as long as it did not have Tylenol in it, but he lied to me in our pre-op appointment and stuck me with a medication that was documented to damage my liver.
I will never trust this man again. Doctors that routinely conduct painful surgery need to get over their fear of the DEA or refuse treatment, or retire, lying to a patient because his comments "fit a profile" without verifying the facts is unsat and almost criminal in my mind. I will never deal with this sorry excuse of a "Medical Doctor" again.
