One of the worst experiences I've had with a dietitian. Seemed like a bunch of smoke and mirrors other than anything else. I worked with an intern--which was kind of awkward. Random suggestions were made about my diet--I should cut out gluten, only eat 900 calories a day, and other odd things. Low and behold, I gained weight while under their advisement. Granted, I can't point the blame on them, but we didn't work on any sort of meal plan or portion control techniques. Rather, Bitzer & Associates were more interested in trying outlandish suggestions that should bring into question what a dietitian actually does. I'd recommend talking to real people who have lost weight and conquered obesity for REAL WORLD/PRACTICAL suggestions rather than waste a dime at Bitzer.
