My mother is going to lose at least one of her legs due to the complete lack of attention and care from this doctor. After months of begging her to get a second opinion, she finally did. Dr. Fleischer told her to lay off the caffeine and exercise after a CT scan in April of 2011 shows 100% blockage in both legs. She returned to his office in June due to sores on her right foot that would not heal. He was such a jerk to her and refused to offer any additional treatment. She's been to several foot doctors and finally one referred her to a real vascular surgeon. She just had angioplasty on the right leg but two of the veins that were operable in April are now completely gone. Virtually no hope of saving the leg though one smaller artery was cleared. Had Fleischer shown the necessary aggression in treating this, my family would not be preparing for amputation. Do NOT risk your limbs with this doctor!!!
