Completely unhelpful and unprofessional staff. They do not act in a timely manner in terms of getting records, sending authorizations, referrals, prescriptions, etc. They claim "I'm doing it now" but weeks later they still haven't done it.

I received an MRI from a facility DOWN THE STREET from their office, and I got the results in the mail quicker than the office did. Every time I called, they would tell me "The fax is coming over now, the Doctor will call you tonight" and I didn't hear from the doctor until WEEKS later.

I spoke with the doctor over the phone about a simple referral, which he claimed "I'm going to do right now." Two weeks later, I called his office and they hadn't done it. "We're doing it now, we'll call you back!" Never happened. Finally, I reached out to my HMO, who called their office and got the same run around "OK, we're sending it over now." Another week goes by, they STILL haven't received any referral. It's been THREE WEEKS and I'm still waiting for a referral.

When I called them personally, they made me feel as if I was interrupting, inconveniencing and annoying them when I asked for simple things. They pulled the "you didn't speak to me, you spoke to someone else" line when I said I had called and spoke to them earlier in the day, despite the fact that I took the person's name down (and it was the same person I was speaking to).

I'll admit that the issue I'm having is not life threatening, but I shudder to think what would happen if I needed something urgently. I feel like I am being held hostage by this doctor and his staff. I need treatment yet I'm unable to receive it, and unable to refer myself.

If you value your health, avoid this doctor and his staff, they represent everything that is wrong with healthcare in this country.
