Dr. Kennedy was late for my appointment and rude. She asked if my phone (which was face down on the table when she finally arrived) was off. I told her that it was. She demanded that I give it to her. She snatched it out of my hands and shoved it on top of my coat. I told her I am losing my reading vision, and wanted to keep wearing contacts. She did a brief exam. She suggested monovision - correcting one eye for distance and one for reading. I told her that wouldn't work for me. She looked mad and said "WHY NOT?". I told her that I play sports with balls and was concerned that monovision would affect my depth perception. She said that the visit was over and ushered me out of the room. She would not offer me any other vision correction options. On my way out, her staff handed me a prescription. I asked several times what it was for, was it monocorrection, would I be able to read? They couldn't tell me anything about it. Dr. Kennedy was late, rude, rushed, ignored questions, and refused to address my concerns. I complained to the clinic and they say that Dr. Kennedy did not see a problem with the visit and so it's my tough luck. Talk about a horrible bedside manner - avoid Dr. Kennedy!
