WORST EVER

Caused problems far WORSE than what I had when I went for my first visit.I first had a FAILED prostate microwaving in 2005 and after that, Transurethral Prostate surgery that was billed to me as ";Definitive" therapy. Little did I know what I was getting into. I had TURP one in August of 2006 and it made me WORSE than I had been. 3 weeks later I had TURP 2 and it only put me back to where I had been. In December of 2006 I had (Unbelievbably) TURP 3 and it made no difference at all.

I complained repeatedly of major testicular pain and it was always explained away as just "infection." It turned out to be a hernia that required near emergency surgery(by another physician) to repair. I suffered for weeks from it because this urologist never bothered to do a quick/simple hernia exam. I will always think that it resulted from the 3 operations I had.

I still did not get better and so eventually went to a nearby teaching hospital/medical school and there found out that as a result of all my surgeries by this urologist, I now had a blocked bladder neck that had to be surgically treated ASAP. In addition to all that, after TURP one I had MAJOR orgasmic sensation loss (Anorgasmia) that was never explained to me as even a possibility. In regard to orgasm, this urologist had said "IT WILL FEEL THE SAME." Retrograde Ejaculation can alter your sexual pleasure/sensation so severly that you can't imagine the difference you could end up with. In addition to that, I was never told that urethral instrumentation could trigger Peyronie's Disease. If you don't know about the "horrors" of that, look it up and know that it MIGHT happen to you if you agree to a TURP or similar preocedure.

This urologist never offered to help me find anyone who could "fix" problems he caused, never accepted any responsibility for causing any of the problems and never even said he was "sorry" I'd had such an ordeal....What does that tell you?
