I went to Dr. Montgomery specifically to discuss having neuromas removed from both my feet. As the outcome will be addressed here later, let me state my failure in making the decision of allowing Dr. Montgomery to treat me. First, I had a friend who was having trouble healing from surgery he performed on her. Secondly when I was examined by Dr. Montgomery, he stressed more on hammer toes I had on my left foot and how they could be fixed rather then the issue I sought help for. Thirdly, Making the decision to allow him to correct my hammer toes and agreeing for him to remove a neuroma on the opposite foot at the same time was ludicrous on my part, as I discovered when trying to get around on both feet after surgery. These three issues mentioned above rang a bell in my mind and soul saying do not have surgery done by him, So the outcome of his surgical performance being bad I take part fault.
Surgery was performed as mentioned above. I struggled with healing. When I'd ask him about my healing process, he was usually nonchalant with his answers. Example: when I complained about the foot were the neuroma was removed still hurting, swollen and feeling as if it was still in, his response was "Oh, it's just an adhesion, just rub it like others do It'll get better". NOT Note: in 1980 I had a neuroma removed from both feet (not at the same time) I had no large adhesions or nerve damage. My complaints about the toes swelling on the left foot (for the hammer repair job) he would state "Oh they will go down". On one toe, it never has.
The following is the result of his treatment to my feet:
1. My left foot (hammer toe repair) has severe nerve damage to three toes which remain swollen and increases as I must use the foot daily. The pain associated with the damage is painful if not excruciating at times. 2. My right foot has it's big adhesion and nerve damage on the sides of two toes. By night time I scamper for an analgesic of many a source to relieve my pain. Haven't found one yet. During the course of the day I must replace my shoes I wear two to three time to relieve pain from the permanent damaged caused by Dr. Montgomery. Again, I'll state that I'm partly at fault for the outcome for I knew I should not have had it done by him. But the damage and pain I'll carry with me daily will last until I die. How sad. If this review keeps just one person from the suffering like I do, then it was worth my time writing it. Sorry I had to select a star rating him for this to go through, for one surly would not have been selected.

They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. Their staff is very friendly and professional.

Not really. I had to schedule an appointment for most of my questions.
Does this provider remember you and your circumstances at every appointment?
Absolutely not! I constantly have to repeat and re-explain my situation!
Were the waiting room chairs comfortable at this podiatrist's office?
