It became all too clear that this practice only cares about making money and could truly care less about the suffering patients they provide care for! They severely lack professionalism and ethics! You will only ever meet with a doctor once and then they will pawn you off on their poor NP's who they have do their dirty work! They falsify medical records and lie to one another about the patients! They will refuse to provide you care but then attempt to negatively affect the care you could receive from another provider with absolute lies! Twin Cities Pain Clinic does not care about you and anyone would be smart to stay away!

My initial intake with Dr. Kokayeff at the Edina clinic was amazing. After that visit it went down hill pretty fast.
I scheduled my follow-up with Dr. Kokayeff in Edina as I left the office that day.
When I arrived I was told I did not have an appointment, even though I had the reminder card.
Then I was told my appointment was in Woodbury. I traveled 24 miles to the Edina location. Woodbury would be 42 miles, one way.
Obviously, I missed that app't and rescheduled for Brooklyn Park Location hoping my experience would be better at a different location.
I planned to meet with a Dr. regarding results of my MRI. When I arrived I was told I would be seeing a Nurse Practitioner, not a Dr.
For my next follow up, I scheduled for Woodbury thinking Dr. Kokayeff would be my best chance of care.
When I showed up in Woodbury clinic I was told Dr. Kokayeff had other appt's. I saw a Nurse Practitioner, once again. I had been prescribed a medication in December 2014 by Dr. Kokayeff. I was cautioned not to quit the medication abruptly due to potential serious side effects. It is now May 5th 2015. I have been out of this medication since April 20th. I have left 6 messages at the clinic asking for refill. My pharmacy has faxed repeated requests for authorization to refill without a response. I have been out of the medication for 15 days and I cannot get a refill. After my 5th (desperate) phone call on Friday May 1 I received a voice mail from the Edina clinic stating that they had faxed the authorization on April 30. It is May 5th today and My pharmacy records show that the last authorization was received on Feb 28. As for that caution of abruptly quitting this medication; Apparently I have quit. I cannot get a response from this clinic. My advise: GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!
