Dear Mr. Doug Scott,
Re: Review 9-16-2011

It is unfortunate that you unfairly judged Dr. David. You never even met her! I am the nurse that triaged you that day. The office policy is that we are in General Pediatrics. In your case for abdominal pain, the Pediatric Gastroenterologists has the authority to give the second opinion. Regarding stealing patients, Dr. David does not do that! She is a compassionate, dedicated physician that is well loved by her patients and the community. It is truly unfortunate that you misunderstood our conversation that day but I think that you owe her an apology. - W.T.

This past week (09/2011) our 12 year old daughter has been sick with a severe gastro intestinal infection. After seeing our primary pediatrician 2x we still felt uneasy with the diagnosis. Our little girl was still in so much pain. We contacted Dr. David's office and explained our circumstances. We wanted the doctor to examine our daughter and due to other extenuating circumstances we were very seriously considering switching from our 15 year Primary pediatrician to Dr. David. Her staff were all very polite and professional and I was initially very impressed, almost excited to switch over. Finally we got in to see the doctor. But then, almost immediately everything changed. She told me that in order for her to examine or treat our daughter that we had to completely switch from our current primary to her. THE DOCTOR REFUSED TO EXAMINE OR TREAT MY DAUGHTER. Now this wasnt a matter of insurance or money, because I have that covered. She said, "I DO NOT GIVE SECOND OPINIONS AGAINST MY COLLEGUES, YOU UNDERSTAND". She wont give a second opinion against a collegue, but I guess stealing their patients is ok. Dr. David I hope you read this. You should be ashamed. THIS DOCTORS PRIORITIES ARE BACKWARDS. She showed me her true colors at that moment and clearly her first concern is over her colleagues and not her patients. I am sure there are many many patients who think she is wonderful. If she actually examined and treated my daughter I may have had an entirely different story. SINFULLY SHE REFUSED TO HELP. Now I dont ever want her help. DOCTOR, YOU NEED TO RETHINK YOUR PRIORITIES. SHAME ON YOU. Doug Scott - Newburgh, NY
