This so called Doctor does not even deserve any part of one star. I called the office and the ladies were great in getting me in. They told me that I might have to wait but that was not a concern as long as I received help. When I saw him, I had my previous records with me from my last neurologist in another state. He shrugged it off and said that he doesn't like all of the paperwork and pointed over to his sideboard that was loaded with files and he did not want to see any off it and he went on further to say, just let me do my job. He knew that I had been in the hospital and had seen the other neurologist in Chambersburg and asked me what Professor "B" had to say and of course he did not agree with him. I don't know if he thought he was being funny but I thought that was very unprofessional and was turned off by that..I tried not to let it get to me because I needed help so I let it be. He did his so called exam and told me right away that I had peripheral neuropathy. Well, at first I thought WOW this is some great doctor. So he scheduled an EMG and after the test he said something about a pinched nerve. He told me when I came back for my followup appt following the test to bring in any paperwork that I might have. I told him that I bought it the first time and he said well did I look at it. So I was at his mercy and was nice and told him no you didn't because you wanted to do your testing. So I came back for my follow-up with papers and scans in hand. He asked me what was all of this? I told him flat out that, "you told me to bring my paperwork". Once again very arrogant. I did manage to hand him a couple of reports and he looked at them both in about 5 seconds and simply got a smirk on his face. Then again mentioning just let me do my job. He did not even look at any of my scans as a normal good neurologist would do. So I am assuming that he does not know how to even read one. I knew at that time I would never walk into this office again. He is arrogant and obnoxious and thinks he is God and knows it all. Well, if he knew anything then he would not have given me a script for a dirurectic when I have low BP. What doctor would do that??? I want a doctor that will listen to me. As I am the one who knows my symptoms and my body not him. I ended up in ICU 2 weeks ago not in this area with a CVA and told the hospital doctor I had been to see a neurologist and he asked me what testing did he do. I told him an EMG and he told me that is all nothing else? I told him no just the script for the dirurectic. .He told me absolutely do not take that and I will find you another respectful Neurologist at another facility. This so called Doctor may be good for people that are on drugs so he doesn't have to spend anytime with you. But, being my own advocate and asking questions is not something he wants to take time with so be aware of that. He was not a good fit for me. I just learned from a friend that he had a family member who went to him and she never went back after the 1st visit because of his arrogance. So all I can say is if your are your own advocated and have questions to ask, he will not be a good Doctor for you either. Sorry, I have to give at least 1 star, but I have nothing good to say about this doctor, only that his office staff is wonderful but he is a jerk!
