This doctor does not follow Medicare's requirements for proper documentation procedures when prescribing medical equipment. Medicare has very specific guidelines that doctors must follow in order for patient's to bill Medicare for equipment. This doctor refuses to create and provide detailed Progress Notes to get the patient approved, he also refuses to sign the detail written orders created by the medical equipment companies which is also a Medicare requirement. This has resulted in numerous patient's being unable to get equipment that they need and were recommended by this doctor. He should be reported to Medicare for this violation.
