I had to have surgery, well he recommended it. Supposed to be a day surgery. I had problems come up the night before and tried to tell him, his nurse, and everyone else I came in contact with before the surgery and they all "poohed poohed" my concerns. I woke up with both my arms completely numb, and was told I had been "stressed" in surgery and it wasn't completely finished. My arms and hands were numb all day long. I could not get a straight answer on what happened in surgery to cause it. I wasn't warned anything like that was possible. I feel if he'd listened to my concerns about what was going on with me none of it would have happened. Even if it would have meant postponing the surgery at the last minute. I had to find out from another doctor who had my records what actually happened. I could have died!!!

They didn't tell me any of the side effects that would come with my medication, or any of the risks that were possible with my procedure. I was only told about the benefits and why I needed it. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. They seemed to have known the basics of my medical history before my examination. They asked the usual questions but didn't go into much detail. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered.
