You often have to wait a long time to see the doctor. I have sat in the examining room for a long time, only to find the doctor is not yet in the office. Staff can be hot and cold, sometimes very nice and other times blow you off.
Making appointments is a game, they put you off as long as they can, but when the doctor is not there, they are always able to give me another appointment within 2 days.
I am finding a new gyn after almost 10 years with him, just tired of the run around

I was seen by Dr Wangner for a yearly checkup. After the pap I asked a few questions about endometriosis since I have a family history and I mentioned that I have always had painful menstruations and what my former Dr prescribed for me. He stopped me from asking questions, didn't really answer them, told me that I would have to go over these on a regular visit not a wellness visit. Prescribed me Yaz and ordered some blood work and told me to schedule another appointment. The entire visit lasted about six and a half minutes. I did make the second appointment and was seen by him at a normal visit. For my second visit, after wating 50 min, I was told by his staff that he was running late and I would have to wait even longer and they couldn't tell me exactly when he could see me, so I rescheduled for the next day.
Now I got a bill from his office for an extra visit for an outpatient 45 min visit for the first time I was seen by him. When I called to ask his office what this charge was for, I was told that just because he had prescribed Yaz during my wellness visit it counts as an extra visit and that it doesn't matter that the entire visit was for 6 minutes it still counts as two.
This is a doctor that's dismissive and don't answer your questions or explain your condition, I'm sure he's competent enough in his field but he lacks social manners and just sees dollar signs not patients.

This has been my experience, other people might have had great experience with him but I wouldn't know anything about that.
