They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. Dr. McKnight delivered 3 of my 4 girls and also cared for me during the misfortune of a miscarriage; she was a joy to have as my doctor. During the 12 years that I lived in VA, this was the practice for me; I knew they cared and were the utmost of professionals.

The wait time for my annual exam appointment was reasonable (about 10 minutes in the exam room). The office is modern and the waiting room is calming with a view of the skyline.

This office takes my insurance (Federal government Aetna). They bill the insurace and accept payment for anything abov ethe co-pay after the insurance is billed.

I practice Fertility Awareness, which is a technique women can use to gain knowledge about their gynecological health. It is also very useful in promoting conception and can be used to avoid conception.

I went to Dr. McKnight for a follow up pap smear and consult about some symptoms on the recommendation of my general practitioner. It became apparent to me in our conversation that Dr. McKnight is not familiar with "Fertility Awareness" technique. For this reason, I would not recommend this MD if you are not already pregnant.

Furthermore, I have had difficulty in contacting Dr. McKnight and her staff for follow up matters relating to test results. The nurse did not leave messages, thus I did not know she was calling me while I was at work. When the nurse finally left a message, it suggested I was avoiding the doctor.
