She seems uncomfortable, luke warm, or kind of disinterested, in me and maybe OGBGYN, in general. It kind of seemed like most of my questions bothered or frustrated her and I am pretty confident that she does not review my chart well before she comes in (which is reflected in her general responses, that teeter or not answering my question, to my very specific questions). I also saw another provider in that facility, named Dr. Terry, and she was worse. She did not look at my chart at all before she walked in, and spent the entire session with her back to me. She did not take the time to read my chart, but proceeded to ask me about my HIV status (which I had just recently tested negative for, in their practice), and a few other questions, which were all answered in my chart, and after I asked her "did you look at my chart, because, I feel that the Description that is in my chart is likely to be more descriptive than my explanation", she replied that the system was down and that she didn't, but then came back and said it just came up. She also seemed flustered with my questions, skirted around answering my questions, and was indifferent to or detached.
I was in love with Dr. Witter at Hopkins main practice, but the practice is in the hospital and there was always an associated hospital fee with the visit, which our Hopkins Insurance does not fully cover, so we switched. My husband and I are very dissatisfied, and are in process of looking for a different office, or returning to Dr. Witter, and just trying to manage the expenses over time from the hospital fees, so that we can have some piece-of-mind that we are going to have our first child under the care of someone that cares.
