I went to this obgyn when I was 16 because I was referred by my aunt and I had an ovarian cyst that had to be surgically removed. I Valerie was extremely nice and comforting, she did my surgery for me and I have been on birth control ever since. Throughout college I had some issues with the birth control and switched. The office made switching very easy; just a phone call. I went back last year for my annual, and since I hadn't seen Valerie in a few years, I scheduled my appointment with her rather than a nurse. She was a completely different person than i remembered. Perhaps she was having a bad day but during my appointment she was not kind and warm like i remembered and when I asked questions about my birth control she gave me short answers that made me feel like I was asking stupid questions. I left slightly embarrassed and annoyed. Since my birth control has been found to have some unfriendly side effects I asked to switch again this year and have been struggling to find the right one for the past few months. I have called them again today and on their voice machine it says they are open at 8:00am, so I waited and no one answered. So I waited to leave a message and I'm not sure if this goes to an answering service, but the woman was EXTREMELY rude, and told me they office doesn't open till 8:30, I said i was sorry the message had just told me 8:00am, she again rudely corrected me saying 'no, 8:30' and hung up. No one likes the gynecologist and this place used to make me feel a little more comfortable about it all. Now I just feel rushed, afraid to ask questions, and I hardly want to deal with them with my prescriptions. I'm not sure if I really want to return to them as a patient.

If you're looking for a new OBGYN I recommend you go here. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for.
