I have chronic neck pain, for which acupuncture has been extremely helpful in aleviating. Before seeing Dr. Ho, I saw two other acupuncturists over the span of several months, and my neck pains were decreasing. However, my insurance did not cover their services. Dr. Ho was covered by my insurance, so I went to him. This was a horrible mistake. I have seen him four times. Rather than aleviating my suffering, his treatments have left me in a worse condition than when I first came. First, his acupuncture actually hurt when administered, which has never happened before. Second, I started feeling neck pains and headaches immediately after treatment. This last time was so bad that it has been a week since I saw him, and I can barely move my neck. When I asked him why his treatment was causing so much pain, he blamed me and said that I do not respond well to acupuncture. This runs counter to my past experiences with acupuncture, which as I said have been very positive. Dr. Ho does not know what he is doing; do not go to him.
