Recent Reviews
They say you are only as strong as your weakest link. This holds true even for doctors. Though I've seen Dr. Meritz or several years and always felt as though I was in great hands; his staff leads a lot to be desired. They are unwilling to schedule appointments, take messages, return phone calls, and frankly seem unconcerned about the patients health and well being. It is for that reason that I will be in search of a new gp.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Meritz for quite a while, but unfortunately we will be looking for another provider. Although we truly like the doctor himself, his staff is not helpful and not particularly friendly. My husband took my son in for an appointment, then waited for over an hour past his appointment time. People who came in after they did were being seen. My husband checked with the front desk to see what the problem was, the receptionist went to the back to check, and after several minutes she had not come back. My husband finally left and took my son to the minor emergency clinic. We received no explanation and no apology.
