What I really loved was how friendly the doctor and staff were here. I felt so welcome and will definitely be with them for the long haul. I have already sent so many people here. They truly deserve more recommendations than I can give! I was so impressed with how great they were at answering each and every question I had in-depth. They were so patient, and covered all of the bases until I had no more questions. I felt 'heard' by this provider. They listened to me and I am really impressed with their apparent concern for my well being. The staff was warm and welcoming, which I appreciated. They are very friendly there. I think LEE is a drug addict and no one will have a sudden problem of anxiety just because at this point on life discovered that his immature mom (who was probably on drugs too) tried to kill him, if his anxiety problems are that bad YES he should go see a psychiatrist .

I do not recommend this doctor. I was seen by the younger Dr. Baros as a new patient because I needed a prescription refilled. I needed an anxiety prescription refilled and he saw me for 10 minutes. He told me that he cannot refill my prescription and referred me to a psychiatrist. I have taken the same medication for many years and recently moved to San Antonio and needed a new doctor. Then he told me that anxiety medication is not needed because we can all work through our problems. What he didn't know is that I moved to San Antonio from a different state, and a month prior to my transition I had found out that my mother tried to murder me when I was 8 months old and I spent 3 days in ER.So I was trying to deal with this trauma at that time. Needless to say, this was not what I wanted or needed to hear and I needed my anxiety medication more than ever at this point. My insurance has a high deductible and they charged me a $250 visit for the 10 minutes I saw the doctor. I found out later that with my insurance they should not have charged me more than $200, and most definitely nothing at all when they weren't able to help me.
