I totally support Dr. Gruenther..... he has been my doctor for over 20 years. heck he wouldn't even give me cough medicine with codeine in it when I asked for. I was really ticked off that day. He preferred the non-narcotic medicine. He always made me come in for checkups to receive refills for my presciptions. If he couldn't help he never failed to send me to a specialist. Never guessed or ignored my care.I do not believe he would knowingly let any patient be hurt or abuse medications. I certainly hope things work out for this man and he is treated fairly.

Dr.Gruenther is a very good doctor. He has been my doctor for about 20 years now. Good doctor's are very hard to find, he is one of the few good one's.My family and I have been Blessed to have him as a doctor. I was extremely upset to read the article in the Dispatch about Dr. Gruenther. I DO NOT BELIEVE the accusations. I do not believe he would knowingly let any patient be hurt or abuse medications. It was so unfair to put his name in the same article as the other doctor there is no comparison.He has treated my husband for pain for different health problems and Dr.G did try non-narcotic medications first. There is no replacing Dr.G. I am very sad at the thought that we might not have Dr. Gruenther as our Doctor anymore.People put yourself in his patients place those that know what a truly wonderful, trustworthy ,caring person he is.Words alone cannot express the way I feel at the thought of not having him as my doctor. I pray that this does not happen. I also pray for him that things work out he deserves the best. God Bless You Dr. Gruenther.
