Buffy Cook is a prescription writer. He has no concern for his patients. He doesn’t examine his patients when they are there. He simply writes prescription. I had a family member who had a wreck totally her car on the way home from seeing “Dr” Cook. She was under the influence of prescription drugs. The doctor never noticed she didn’t need to be driving. She was told at a different appointment to go to the hospital. He did not call an ambulance. The doctor at the ER was shocked that she came by car as she was in AFIB. They said it was a wonder she didn’t have a heart attack on the way. I don’t recommend him to anyone for anything!!!!!!!

Although few people actually WANT to go to the doctor, if you must go for a general checkup or for a bout of illness, I highly recommend Brighton Family Medicine. My husband and I have each been seen there a couple of times with very positive experiences all the way around. The facility is clean and the staff wear jeans for a laid back atmosphere that is coupled with a very professional attitude. The entire staff was friendly and helpful from the front office to the medical doctor. Dr. Cook never makes you feel rushed, listens attentively, and helps you with a plan of care that fits your particular needs. There is the added benefit that they will electronically send your prescriptions to the pharmacy so that by the time you get there, your prescription is waiting for you. If you are seen by the nurse practioner, she is equally adept and professional. Dr. Cook himself called us back with test results, being very thorough in explaining exactly what the numbers meant. We have always been scheduled in a timely manner and seen promptly. There is a bit of a wait to get in the first time, but like most things, the wait is well worth it!
