Wait times are terrible, but I'm overall satisfied with the care Dr. Lamantia provides. I miss his old staff though, his LPN Donna was amazing!

I was a little apprehensive about having to find a new doctor after my doctor retired. I googled and researched several different family medicine care providers and decided to go with Dr. Lamantia. I was a little worried about having to start fresh with a new doctor. I arrived a little early, as advised, to fill out paperwork, did not have to wait long at all. The woman working the desk wasn't overly friendly, but appears to do her job well. The nurse that took me back to the exam room and did vitals wasn't exactly super friendly either and in fact made me feel a bit uncomfortable and made me reconsider my choice of picking this doctor...but when Dr. Lamantia came in, after spending just a few minutes with him, I had no doubts that I found myself a wonderful new doctor. He is genuinely a good doctor & is very down to earth. He is extremely thorough, spends quality time with his patients, asks about and listens to any concerns you may have, does not make you feel rushed. He is the only doctor I have ever gone to that actually sits down with you and goes over your family history as well as any current issues. In my past experiences the nurses usually took that info, or there was a form that you filled out yourself then the doctor came in and skimmed over your chart and was out of the room within 5 minutes. I am really very pleased with him and he made me feel very comfortable. I am willing to just deal with the rest of his staff to have him as my doctor! I highly recommend Dr. Lamantia, if you are in search of a new doctor, make an appt. with him, you will not be disappointed!
