Dr. Knupp has been my PCP for years, and she is wonderful - it's not surprising that you have to call a couple of months in advance to get an appointment with her. She is kind, thorough and professional, and has always answered my questions to my satisfaction. I never feel rushed by her. Her staff has always been friendly, too, even when they're busy. After my last appointment, there was some glitch with the insurance company and they were great about getting it straightened out for me immediately. Nothing but good things to say about them.

Dr. Knupp procures patients for human research subject testing at UPMC and pretends that she "wants to get you well." She grabbed my breast when I was standing up, waiting for her to exit the room after an exam. She pretends she will accommodate your scheduling needs and her very abusive front end staff (amber, Darlene, Renee) will cancel the appointments Dr. Knupp supposedly made. She requests medical records from prior physicians and does not review them. All medical students go through radiology training and seem to have forgotten how to read xray or mri; I had to learn to do it myself. She prescribed psychiatric drugs for blockage of a pancreatic duct. Subsequently she stated she was not "technically competent." Other peoples medical records were inserted into my medical records. She is a bad doctor.
