I am in my 40s and have been through many Doctors looking for one that I like . Dr. Slater is it . He is extremely helpful , takes the time to explain everything and he is Funny . He has helped me with numerous issues and listened to my point of view during all of them . He answered all my questions and showed me many alternatives when I was not fond certain ways or methods .

Horrible: If you are ill & need help, DO NOT GO THERE. They have policies that cannot help you. You will have a hard time trying to even reach anyone there, as they are seldom in much less answer phone calls.


This is a dream job for those who work there, but for you, even a hospital will pick up the phone eventually & give you more help than this place. This place will only waste your time referring you to other people who might possibly be able to help you, essentially making your visit a waste of time, other than their ability to collect fees for referrals as it appears upon information & belief.


If you are very ill & in pain DON’T GO HERE! They have a policy of NOT prescribing anything that will really help you. They will prescribe ONLY the types of things that you could have bought yourself over the counter, only in a glorified prescription form or as they say, "non-controlled substances". Instead they will refer you to a pain management specialist.


Also beware, they have no signs on their door located in a mall, or even inside of their office. It is like they are trying to hide something, & then in an examining room, they will shut you in & you are not allowed to open the door, even if you think they forgot about you or you are ready to pass out. What is it they don’t want you to see or hear or hide?


What if you are so ill & feel like passing out like I did, how will anyone even know that if you are hidden away waiting for nearly 2 hours.


Then if they tell you to go around the corner for blood tests watch out. They don’t know what the other half is doing in the same office or facility & may tell you they don’t take your insurance even though the doctor end, or shall I say a Nurse Practitioner end does take it.


You may get to see a doctor on your way out in the hallway to introduce himself but good luck getting one to help you. Why are these people even in business wasting your time & precious resources if they cannot do anything to help but refer you to other people or to prescribe over the counter medications?


How is it, these other rave reviews are from people not even from the Buffalo area where his office is? Yelp seems to censor bad reviews so I will be surprised if my shows up.


Avoid this place like the Plague! Your life depends on it, and they do not care if they leave you suffering.
