Doctor was impatient and rude, self-assured to the point of arrogance(medical student observing was red-faced with embarrassment by doctor's manner). Seemed to assume that the solution/treatment which he knew about was the best or only suitable approach, even though the patient had a long and successful history of other methods/medications. If the patient had previously been treated by another physician, doctor seemed annoyed with whatever treatment earlier caregiver had established.

I went to see Dr. Choi as I was feeling very weak, rapid heart beat, and could barely walk from one room to another as I was too tired. I also informed him that I had been bleeding for a month straight. He said to me "I am not trying insult you but women tend to get depressed and I think that's what you are suffering from, but I will do blood work to make you feel better. We will call you when it comes back, it may take a week or two" and sent me on my way! I was totally in shock by his diagnosis sense nothing that I said would indicate depression. About 3 hours later I received a call from Lourdes Hospital telling me to get to the hospital ASAP, they were going to admit me immediately and I needed blood transfusion and surgery. My blood count was so low that I should have already been dead! Dr. Choi called me about a week later and tried to cover up his blatant misdiagnosis. I would never go back to him or recommend him to anyone. I am thankful to this day that my guardian angel was watching over the lab that day and that my blood work made it into the right hands quickly, only because of that am I still here today to give this review.
