Reddy doesn't care about you or your concerns. She's one of the worse offenders of being a "fast doctor". You only actually get to see her for 5 minutes. I had an appointment at 2:00pm and did not get to see her until 4:15pm. I was out of the office and had my next appointment scheduled by 4:25pm. NO MORE REDDY THANK YOU VERY MUCH. All she wants to do is recommend a thyroidectomy, and she preys on those who walk in ignorant placing their faith upon her every breath. When some of the things she said didn't add up (I have a low TSH level, but otherwise normal T3/T4 levels, yet she says I NEED SURGERY TO REMOVE MY THYROID BECAUSE MY THYROID IS "ALL OUT OF WHACK" - her words), I started doing my own research all over, googling, joining endocrineweb.com, asking questions on quora, reading medical journals, and just reading and trying to understand my own lab results. When I started to question her on her quick and fast medical orders, she started accusing me of giving her a hard time, even though I was only trying to understand why she prescribes/orders the tests she does. She said I needed to have my thyroid surgically removed, when I asked why, she said she thought my "thyroid hormones" are too high, she said the lab works said so. When I pointed out that my T3/T4 were, in fact, normal, she started back tracking and changing the subject about keeping my thyroid could lead to cancer. By her logic, I should have mastectomy too, since having breasts would only lead to cancer.
