Services Dr. Daniel Weiss is a highly regarded board-certified endocrinologist and Director of Your Diabetes Endocrine Nutrition Group, a eleven person endocrine/metabolic team in Mentor Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. Dr. Weiss is active in clinical research studies sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and by pharmaceutical companies. He has published and served as a reviewer of articles for medical journals and enjoys teaching medical students and physicians in training as well as those physicians already well-established in practice.
Dr Weiss has a special interest in nutrition and is one of the few persons in the State of Ohio who is a board-certified physician nutrition specialist. He is an active member of the nutrition committee of the American College of Endocrinology. He is also one of a select number of clinical researchers designated a Certified Physician Investigators; there are less than 1200 in the world. He is on the Board of Directors of the newly formed American Board of Obesity Medicine
In July 2010, Dr. Daniel Weiss was awarded the Circle of Hospitals Award by the American Diabetes Association. This award is given to an individual who has made significant impact to improve the lives of people affected by diabetes.
His approach to patient care is summarized in his group’s mission statement: “to provide the best possible care, support and understanding for people with endocrine disorders”.

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me.
