Brynna Sibilla is a technically skilled therapist, but she does not have the empathy that is necessary to be effective. Most of the work in therapy is done within the all-important client-therapist relationship, and I found it impossible to form the relationship I needed with her, even after 3 years. After the second time she threatened to terminate my therapy, to avoid the feelings of abandonment that would have resulted, I quit. Particularly at the end, she violated my trust enough that I probably will never be able to participate in psychotherapy again.
