Angela Winslow, MFT
Angela Winslow MFT has specialized training in San Diego couples counseling, infidelity and/or affairs, family matters, and relationships. Her methods focus on improving communication and understanding, healing and rebuilding trust, and restoring sexual intimacy. To facilitate change marriage counseling should clarify your thinking, give perspective and promote understanding of the context of the situation and your role in it.
Angela has a graduate degree from the University of San Diego in Marriage and Family Therapy receiving a full year of specialized training at the VA in couples therapy. This experience, and her ongoing commitment to stay abreast of current research and training opportunities in couples work, gives her the skills and passion to help couples solve problems with intimacy and communication, navigate relationship crises, and achieve the satisfaction of a rewarding relationship.
My goal is to help you understand and change the dynamics and patterns keeping you from a satisfying relationship. Whether faced with a crisis or simply seeking marriage counseling to improve your life together, we can work to improve communication skills, manage anger, rebuild trust, stop fighting, reconnect emotionally, and develop an action plan to improve the relationship.
You may be struggling with the hurt of an infidelity or an emotional affair. I commonly help couples recover from email and texting affairs or internet infidelity. You may be looking at alternatives to divorce or to reconnect sexually. We can't change the hurts of the past or the difficult situation causing you to seek help, however we can work together in a safe, therapeutic environment to heal and trust each other again.
Please email me or call me to discuss your situation. I look forward to the opportunity to be of assistance.
