My daughter has been seeing Kristy for quite sometime. She was anxiety ridden; suffered from depression, as well as low self-esteem from being severely bullied at school. It took awhile for Kristy to build her self-confidence. Kristy provided her tools and different methods that would enable her to deal with her emotions. Our daughter is now a Freshman at a prestigious college. She is meeting new friends, and living life. She's completely changed. We couldn't be more grateful for Kristy!

This Kristy is also a 'supervisor of interns at 'the free clinic of SV'. The word supervisor is a joke. One of the interns that she

supervises actually yelled at me in a counseling session and 'accused' me of talking too much and not letting her talk. I

was there getting help for trauma and CPTSD. This intern severely re-traumatized me. So i called for the supervisor, Kristy.

Who basically lied in order to underhandedly 'get rid' of me. The intern was going to have me come in 2 days later to talk

and heal this. I was not feeling safe and requested the supervisors presence in the session. Then, I suppose after they

two met together, her and this supervisor both texted me and emailed me and lied, saying i declined the offer to come

in, (when in reality it was the opposite), and in a non personal, cold and matter of fact text and email wrote "there are no

more appointments available, 'i'm sorry' but we are no longer able to help you." Period! Kristy used this 'lie' as her

needed excuse to dismiss me. She refused to take responsibility and rectify the damage, ignored and would not return

my calls, even after she outright confessed to me at one point that she negligently/carelessly matched me with the

wrong intern. This intern was not qualified to work with trauma victims, it was beyond the scope of her competence.

After i finally insisted on coming in, Kristy then led me on for a week having me believe they were going to have me

come back in to talk and resolve this emotional outburst /counselor abuse on the interns part which would validate me

and be healing for myself. She had me jump through several hoops: She had me first, get another therapist as a support

for me in case this intern hurt me again. They both authoritatively announced to me, Kristy (the alleged 'supervisor'),

'doesn't have time' to come in the session herself and help set straight the re-traumatization her intern caused, but not

only that, 'there isn't enough staff or other counselors either'. She then had me sign a release for this new counselor to

talk with her. But that wasn't enough, she then told me she called her attorney and told me i needed to make a special

trip to the clinic to sign 'their' release form so she could speak with the other therapist. This was supposedly all the legal

stuff needed specifically for the purpose of having me just come in to resolve the pain and suffering they caused me.

UNBELIEVABLE. Meanwhile, i am in a traumatized, panic state the whole time. So then, a whole WEEK goes by and i

jump through all her hoops, only for her to finally call the other therapist and in a few words tell her she will not allow

me to come in or speak to the intern and said she had me do ALL this because she thought it would be better if i heard

this news from the other therapist! She intentionally knew before hand she was going to do this, but kept leading me

on, all this while, knowing the intern is gone, out of town on vacation.

In general, ANYBODY who understands trauma, knows that what she perpetrated in the past 2 weeks is the WORST

possible thing you can do to someone who suffers from trauma issues .

This is my warning to anyone that might go to her. Beware, wolf in sheeps clothing.

1.) She intentionally and recklessly caused emotional and physical harm/turmoil/needless suffering.
2.) There was Gross Negligence/Incompetence on her part!
3.) General Unprofessional Conduct!
4.)There was Performing, Representing themselves as Able to Perform, Offering to Perform, and Permitting an Intern to

Perform Beyond their Scope/License/Competence! AND
5.) There was overt, Improper Supervision of the Intern! This is counselor abuse and is all grounds for penalty according

to the BBS and DCA.

But what do you do in a situation like this? And how do you heal from it? What can repair the damage?
