About

Abby Bukofzer

I am Abby Bukofzer, M.S., MFT and a past President of the Monterey County Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Many clients come to me with self-defeating patterns that are getting in the way of their happiness and fulfillment. These patterns are likely the result of beliefs developed from childhood experiences. For example, a child whose parent is critical may interpret this to mean "I'm not good enough," and may develop a pattern of failure. My role is to help clients rid themselves of these limiting beliefs.

Services Utilizing a variety of modalities, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Lefkoe Belief Process, I work with clients to restructure how they view themselves, others and the world.
