If you're looking for compassion and care for your well being, Dr. Avriette is not the provider for you. If you're looking for an inconsistent, unethical, and unmannerly therapist and you're a masochist, then she is right up your alley. She is very quick to collect your money. As a matter of fact it is the first thing she brings up before proceeding to the session. Her billing practices are questionable and when approached with such questions this provider becomes hostile. Watch your claims activity through your insurance company. I have caught her attempting to collect over and above the actual "patient amount due". Beware.
