Dr. Nickell thought she could pull a wisdom tooth on my close friend. She worked on her for three hours and then told my friend that she can't do it. This was on a Friday afternoon and over the weekend infection set in her jaw. A large knot developed on her neck/jaw area she couldn't eat and was in terrible pain. Dr. Nickell did not even call to check on her over the weekend in fact the dentist office has not even attempted to call and check on her. My friend was a long-time patient of Dr. Nickell. My friend has had to miss over a week of work and will miss more because she is still dealing with the infection. The oral surgeon gave her an antibiotic IV for two days straight and said that this could have killed her. I am so disappointed (the dentist didn't have the proper tools or ability to pull this wisdom tooth the dentist didn't even check on her patient) my friend had to use all of her vacation time from work and take some time off without pay but the worst part is that she could have died. This treatment is despicable I wouldn't even treat my dog the way this doctor (quack) treaded a patient.
