This throwback practice is so close to retirement that it's only open or twice once per week.
It reminds you of the dental offices your parents may have experienced as children; low ceilings in the basement of the dentist's house, with a couple dental chairs in what was once a game room with flimsy faux wood paneling.
A lovable old dentist schmoozes with patients, talking at them rather than caring what their actual question was. But don't request a clarification or he may call your concern “bullshit”. The staff (all 1 of them) is friendly and keeps the dentists ego bolstered, exacerbating the situation. “The Doctor” knows his stuff and has been doing the job for so long that he doesn't need questions from you.
