Paul Schafer, DDS

Dr. Schafer graduated from UC Berkeley and San Francisco Dental School in 1994. There he was honored with the Chancellor Fleming Award and a commendation from the dean. He also received achievement awards from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of Operative Dentistry. Since then he has participated in over 1,500 hours of continuing education. In recognition of this, the Academy of General Dentistry awarded him a Mastership in 2006. He is one of only two dentists in Marin County to earn this honor. In keeping with his practice philosophy of prevention, he is the only dentist in Marin County to have earned a Fellowship from the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry.

Services We provide all dental services from state-of-the-art restorative and preventive treatment for patients of all ages. If a tooth truly needs a crown, Dr. Schafer’s office is one of only four offices in Marin County equipped to use a surgical operating microscope in the placement of a crown. Should you be missing a tooth, Dr. Schafer is one of only a dozen surgeons and general dentists in Marin who have been awarded a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
