Emery M Cole, DMD
Dr. Cole has enjoyed practicing in Sumiton-Dora & the surrounding communities for over 20 years! After graduating from Spring Hill College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry, he attended The University of Alabama School of Dentistry from 1988-1992 where he earned a Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. He was awarded a certificate of Advanced Education In General Dentistry the following year. In 2005, Dr. Cole was awarded a "Fellowship" in the Academy of General Dentistry in a convocation in Washington D.C. In 2010, he completed Implant Level I & II training at the Zimmer/UAB Institute in Carlsbad, CA. Dr. Cole brought in CEREC technology so he could offer faster and more precise fabrication of crowns and bridges at his office....in ONE visit! Dr. Cole can now straighten teeth, place implants, perform root canals and fabricate crowns all in one office saving YOU time and expenses when feasible. Dr. Cole enjoys professional education and is always improving his dentistry. He treats patients one person at a time and enjoys providing Single Visit Dentistry whenever possible. CEREC CAD-CAM technology is utilized at his office to custom fabricate crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays and bridges in a single appointment. This allows his patients to have fewer dental appointments and is great for people with busy work schedules or who drive longer distances or simply do not like wearing plastic temporary crowns or bridges! Dr. Cole also offers ZOOM! tooth whitening and is certified in Invisalign & Invisalign Teen aligner orthodontics for straight teeth without metal brackets and wires. His office has numerous LCD tv monitors through out and utilizes wireless intraoral cameras so you can see what the doctor sees as Dr. Cole enjoys talking with patients but he also allows his patients to take a more active role in their dentistry.
